#norwichmeet Blogger event

20.1.15
Hey guys! So the 19th January I went to my first ever blogger event and oh my what a way to break my virginity. Every blogger event held in Norwich I always seem to be the last to know, so as soon as I saw this one being advertised I knew I had to get my name on the list quick!

The event was hosted and organised by the beautiful bloggers: Courtney, Siobhan, Hannah and Justine, held at the Bird Cage Norwich
I arrived at exactly at 18:30pm on the dot and waited outside, too nervous to go in. It wasn't until a few others went in a straggled along behind trying to make myself feel I didn't go alone. Once inside I was greeted by the hosts who introduced themselves and told me a little bit about what was going on around. Standing alone, I tried to recognise faces from twitter profile pictures I'de seen earlier that day! It wasn't until I finally recognised someone that I began to relax and mingle. I honestly thought I had gotten over my shyness but hey! Looks like its something Im still going to have to work on.

Being the rubbish blogger I am, I totally failed at taking any types of pictures of the venue or the stalls. However I did get one picture of the ceiling -insert embarrassed monkey emoji-.

There was some great stalls too:
A beautiful selection of vintage clothes from 'Speckled Hen Vintage'- A vintage clothing stall found nestled in the Norwich Market, I found many winter jumpers that are most probably going to be making their way into my wardrobe very soon!
The most delicious fudge I have ever tasted provided by 'The River Kitchen'- They actually haven't opened up yet, but will be opening up in spring! They supplied oreo and white chocolate fudge, which like I stated has to be the most amazing fudge ever! So creamy and flavoursom. I also requested a doggy bag of one of their Marshmellow iced chocolate cupcakes, as was a little bit full still from lunch. Now, it did squash in my bag and was extremely messy to eat but it was worth every sticky finger! Not ashamed either to say I licked the plastic wrapper they had put it in for me.
Not forgetting the lovely ladies from Lisa Angel who gifted us all with beautiful jewels in our goodie bags. Will be doing. A full write up on that soon! Aswell as 'makeup by Joni Matthews' who had an amazing kit with her and flawless looking makeup.

There was also a raffle with lots of goodies from companies like: Phillip Browne, sin sins, Neals yard etc. I was lucky enough to have won two prizes.

Extremely excited to try the 'Neals Yard' goodies as I have never tried anything from the brand before and I also won this beautiful Fred Perry wallet donated by Phillip Browne.

The goodie bag was also so amazing! When I got home I was so excited and pleased with all the great stuff that I got.

Thank you to all the companies and people that supported the night! Make sure you go check them out :)

All money raised from the night is being donated to 'women's aid'.

I had such a great night, it really inspired me and was a kick up the bum I needed to focus more on my blogging/vlogging. It was great to get to know other bloggers, share tips, learn new things and most importantly chat to people that shared a makeup addiction like my self! I can't wait to go to my next event and if you ever get the chance to attend a meet GO!
